Traces from the see, showing up on the beach …
To create these wall sculptures, I started working with plaster at the beach of ‘Het Zoute’ at the Belgian coast. At that part of the coast, I could do ‘my thing’ without harassing others. The the plaster mould that I casted at the beach I could start using it with casting slip in my studio.
It is finished with sand, glaze and a touch of gold.
