The Power of Nature!
LIMIT is a series of unique objects, born on the potter's wheel but crafted with an unconventional approach. Gypsum molds are shaped by centrifugal force, naturally giving rise to a parabolic form. With that same force, the object is also shaped within the mold using liquid porcelain.
Monumentality arises from the technique employed. It mirrors the force that sets the potter's wheel in motion, akin to the forces of nature - a whirlpool, a vortex. This work reflects that phenomenon, a movement that eventually finds its stillness.
Fragility becomes apparent when light shines through the thin porcelain walls, creating a delicate interplay of shadow and transparency. This intermingling of strength and vulnerability lies at the core of LIMIT.
